Through teamwork, community, and respect, participants discover the vibrant cultural mosaic of Hispanic heritage.
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month
Participants join forces to earn badges that honor iconic Hispanic figures. This culturally enriching experience features engaging games, media in two languages, and interactive activities that highlight Hispanic leaders and their contributions.
Participants enjoy a mix of trivia, physical challenges, and act-out games designed to make Hispanic culture and history come alive:
- Trivia Games: Campers test their knowledge on figures like Cesar Chavez and Jean-Michel Basquiat, answering questions to earn badges and celebrate Hispanic contributions to art, civil rights, and community.
- Physical Challenges: Games like Move Here to There and Chicken Toss get campers moving, inspired by cultural themes and leaders such as Lin-Manuel Miranda and Sonia Sotomayor.
- Act-Out Games: Activities like Charade the Product give campers a chance to bring famous Hispanic inventions to life, including piñatas, color TV, and chocolate.
The show ends with a high-energy Freeze Dance Party to the Afro-Latina beats of Celia Cruz, celebrating Hispanic culture in a fun, memorable way.
Bilingual performers may be available based on your flexibility in dates.
